Shawnee Town 1929 is a museum that is a division of the City of Shawnee’s Parks and Recreation Department. The Museum is currently undergoing an expansion that will allow visitors to experience a typical day in and around the 1920s farm community of Shawnee, Kansas, through authentic collections, exhibits, programs and events.
