Save the Date: 2018 Eagle Days at F.L. Schlagle Library

Join us for this fantastic annual event to celebrate the American Bald Eagle as well as all birds of prey! This family-friendly event has something for all ages. The event will take place simultaneously at JP Davis Hall as well as the FL Schlagle Library at Wyandotte County Lake, so be sure to visit both sites.  Operation Wildlife will give numerous presentations on the live birds of prey on exhibit through out the day at both locations. See the attached schedule. Birds on exhibit may include a Bald Eagle, owls, hawks, falcons and even a crow and a turkey vulture.  At the library, we will also have a children’s craft area, binocular check out as well as a spotting scope station to view the migrating birds that visit WyCo Lake in winter.

Saturday January 20 from 9:00am-12:00pm at FL Schlagle and 10:00am-4:00pm at Davis Hall

Sunday January 21 from 12:00pm-4:00pm at both locations
